There were 367 participants in the 2007 Sonata Contest and we would like to thank all of you for helping to make this a successful day. A very big thank you to all MTAC members who helped out on the day of the contest: Crystal Keyte, Leslie Wolf Robb, Anna Robitaille, Tracy and Gerald Lovley, Tim Broadway, Miriam Cole, Betty Martin, Kathy Kim, Lyn Sundfor-McPherson, Eleanor and Eric Hum, Victor Labenske, Ken Ard, Hsiang-Lin Chu, Magdi Bornemisza, and Mei Yu. Former participants, Taka Ariga, Amy Fan, and Sarah Moody were also a great help. Mothers of former participants, Eiko Stefanko, Sheaulin Chi, Taka Kunitake, Jing Chan, and Yoko Onaka also helped a great deal and we were so happy to see them. A big thank you to Mitzi Kolar who sent several students, who provided wonderful, friendly help. Another big thank you to Josefina Sandoval for preparing and organizing the lunch and to Linda Dunn for her computer expertise! Thank you all so very much. If we have omitted anyone, please forgive us. Finally, none of this would be possible without the help of Mitzi Kolar and the San Diego State University Music Department who sponsors our organization. Happy Holidays to all of you and we hope to see you next year.
